Stainless steel glove formers are key in the nitrile/latex/PVC glove production line. When the Glove production line runs, Glove formers directly contact the chemically active ingredients and create the microenvironment needed for a high-quality rubber layer – uniform and free of pinholes.
Traditional production lines have long used ceramic glove formers, and these traditional materials share some common drawbacks.
- Due to its natural fragility and poor thermal shock resistance, heavy ceramics are easy to break or leave collision scars during the production cycle. The cost is high because the damaged shaper cannot be recovered, resulting in a short service life of the shaper.
2. Traditional ceramic hand models have limited resistance to corrosive media. As a result, their surface characteristics (such as roughness) change over time, which brings great uncertainty to glove quality control and the opportunity for cross-contamination between containers.

Stainless Steel Glove Former Cleaning Scheme
The stainless steel hand mold is cleaned from 50 – to 60 days once.
The cleaning method is the same as ceramic hand mold(cleaning agent).
Cleaning agent ratio 1:20, wash 2 laps for clean water for 3 laps.
Wash time is about 15 pieces per minute.
