Latex Gloves Production Process

Latex gloves are often used in medical, scientific experiments or food service because of their special material. So how are latex gloves made? What is the production process of latex gloves?

Normally, glove formers are washed with acid-alkali water and soaked in an acid-alkali tank to remove dirt and debris from the glove formers. Cleaned glove formers are impregnated with a mixture of calcium nitrate and calcium carbonate or calcium stearate to facilitate the release of gloves from hand formers during the subsequent stripping process in the glove production line. The gloves are then soaked in hot water to remove any remaining latex proteins and chemicals.

The gloves are then dried and cured, at which point a vulcanization reaction occurs between the rubber molecules in the latex and the added chemicals, making the gloves stronger and more resilient. Gloves are treated with a fluorine or compound coating to control surface grip characteristics. After drying, the gloves are rinsed again to strain out the extra latex protein, and the cuffs are beaded or rolled up to make them easier to carry.

Finally, the finished gloves are stripped from the hand mold and passed quality inspection before packing and shipping. Depending on the production speed, the entire glove manufacturing cycle takes 40 to 60 minutes, of course, this specific speed needs to be based on the length and space of the glove production line design. After that, the latex glove manufacturing process starts all over again.

Create Polymerization Processes Suitable for Scale Production

Fengwang Tech not only provides design drawings for glove manufacturers, but also provides latex glove production process solutions and troubleshooting solutions encountered during glove production, and optimizes the existing glove production line and the machine parts in it, thus ultimately ensuring a reliable and efficient glove manufacturing process.

Machine Operation and Debugging

The molecules produced by well-regulated polymerization have good characteristics in terms of composition, molecular weight, molecular weight distribution, structure and properties. A thorough understanding of these elements in chemical research and development ensures that synthetic polymers are fit for purpose. To achieve this, the synthesis process and its reaction parameters must be understood and carefully controlled. Only an accurate, repeatable, error-free formulation and formulation process can ensure you achieve the desired product performance and to ensure customer satisfaction.
